据此前罗马诺消息，索默转会费为800万欧元+150万欧元附加条款，双方将签约至2025年6月。
索默现年34岁，2014年7月从巴塞尔加盟门兴，8年半里共代表门兴出战335场，贡献90次零封，未收获冠军。索默因对阵拜仁经常超神而为球迷熟知。
